According to a report by a media outlet on the 22nd, the current certified copy of the register for the Itaewon-dong single-family house registered under Park Na-rae's name shows two mortgages. First, on July 13, 2021, a mortgage with a maximum claim amount of 1.1 billion won was registered with a bank as the creditor, which is interpreted as a typical mortgage loan.
In addition, on the 3rd of this month, a mortgage with a maximum claim amount of 4.97 billion won was newly added with Enpark Co., Ltd., known as Park Na-rae's affiliated corporation, as the creditor. The cause on the register is listed as "establishment agreement," and it is reported to be unrelated to compulsory execution or seizure.
The report said various possibilities are being raised regarding this mortgage registration. It could be collateral set up for corporate fundraising, or an action to settle creditor-debtor relations between an individual and a corporation. Analysts also said it cannot be ruled out that it is a preemptive measure to prepare for potential future debts or expenses.
In the entertainment industry, there are often cases in which large expenses such as penalty fees occur due to risks related to affiliated entertainers, so agencies sometimes set up collateral considering this. However, because the timing of this mortgage registration coincides with various controversies surrounding Park Na-rae, multiple interpretations about the background are emerging.
Meanwhile, after leaving her former agency, Park Na-rae has continued activities centered on a corporation established in her mother's name. Regarding this mortgage registration, Park Na-rae's side reportedly conveyed a position to the effect that it is a personal matter related to a family-named corporation and is difficult to confirm.
