'Park Won-sook's Let's Live Together' Park Won-sook and Hye-eun, Hong Jin-hee and Hwang Seok-jung shed tears as they wrapped up living together.
On the 22nd broadcast on KBS2, 'Park Won-sook's Let's Live Together' portrayed the scenes of Park Won-sook, Hye-eun, Hong Jin-hee and Hwang Seok-jung ending seven years of living together.
Facing the final shoot, Park Won-sook said,
Hye-eun, who has been working with Park Won-sook since the program began, expressed gratitude, saying, "When this program started I was climbing a hill, but now it feels like I'm walking a wide flower path." Park Won-sook choked up, telling Hye-eun, Hong Jin-hee and Hwang Seok-jung to meet at least once a month even if not for the program, and shared her inner thoughts: "I did this program as I wanted and fully; I'm grateful, but the title only has my name so I feel sorry for the members."
'Sagongju,' which captured memories by taking family photos in various concepts, returned home. Park Won-sook said, "I've lived both work and life passionately, but it's regrettable that my stamina isn't what it used to be. Even if the role is small, if it suits me I'll be greedy and act, but 'Let's Live Together' was always the priority. If my condition improves and I regain motivation, I'd like to perform good acting once more before I die," she said. Hong Jin-hee cheered on Park Won-sook's return to her main profession, saying, "Unni still overflows with passion."
Hye-eun, tearing up, said, "While living together I wanted to tell you my sincere feelings at a certain time: At first it was very hard, but over time Park Won-sook took great care of me. If she hadn't, I might have left. She made me comfortable, so I wanted to express my gratitude. Thank you for treating me well. Spending time together I changed without realizing it, and she raised my self-esteem." Park Won-sook said, "I was very glad to see the strengthened Hye-eun. It's regrettable enough to wish we'd met a little earlier. Like biological sisters or a sister-in-law, we'll be together going forward."
Reunited, 'Sagongju' continued living together by filling their stomachs with Hwang Seok-jung's fruit decoration lesson followed by Hong Jin-hee's handmade dumpling soup. Park Won-sook showed affection for the program, saying, "Across the seasons we lived together for seven years. The longest-running show I did was 'Three Families Under One Roof' for about nine years in terms of calendar years, but I did 'Let's Live Together' without knowing it was hard." Especially after starting living together in Gongju, Park Won-sook began writing her own pieces and said, "I'm writing like a diary at ease, so if I ever publish a poetry collection let's definitely get together." Despite battling Ménière's disease since her 40s, Park Won-sook said writing is fun, raising expectations that she might debut as a poet.
'Sagongju' was moved while watching a video that captured seven eventful years of living together. Watching a video that compiled colorful stories with 164 guests in 32 locations, Park Won-sook said, "I remember everything, but Song Chang-sik comes to mind deeply," recalling the reunion after 55 years. When the members persistently probed about her first love, Park Won-sook made them laugh by saying, "Im Hyun-sik." Park Won-sook shared her impressions: "We lived happily together and had many good things. I'm very proud and grateful." Hye-eun said, "When I first came I was in despair; I wasn't happy or joyful. But from a certain moment I saw myself changing, and now my self-loathing has turned into self-esteem and my confidence has grown. I lost 7 kg compared to when I first came, and there was fake news that I lost 8 kg in two months. I had been dieting steadily without realizing it, and through 'Let's Live Together' my body and mind stabilized."
Regarding future plans, Park Won-sook said, "For now I'm going to rest a lot," and said she will focus on recovering her health. Hye-eun said she needs to prepare for overseas performances and shared her plan: "I'm deliberately creating work. I want to do more work." Hong Jin-hee said, "Like someone who's been unemployed for a long time, I want to travel with people around me and look for small happiness."
Sagongju were touched as they looked at messages included in previously taken photos. Hye-eun wrote "I was happy," Hong Jin-hee wrote "The end is the beginning," Hwang Seok-jung wrote "What, already," and Park Won-sook wrote "Thank you." Park Won-sook gave her final greeting: "This program is a life work for me. I am so grateful to the viewers. Thank you for watching every time and for loving us so much. I was happy and grateful. I wish you health and happiness."
Meanwhile, with Park Won-sook gone, the new lead of 'Let's Live Together' is actress Hwang Shin-hye, and Hwang Shin-hye will meet viewers in January 2026 with Jang Yoon Jeong and Jung Ga-eun in 'Hwang Shin-hye's Let's Live Together.'
