BOYNEXTDOOR (BOYNEXTDOOR) showcased an explosive rise by winning four awards at 'MMA2025'.
BOYNEXTDOOR (Seongho, Liu, Myung Jaehyun, Taesan, Lee Han, Unhak) swept a total of four awards at 'The 17th Melon Music Awards, MMA2025' held on the 20th at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul. They were named among the "Top 10," recognizing the best teams of the year; "Millions Top 10," awarded to groups with songs that achieved 1 million streams; and "Best group (male)," given to the best K-pop boy group. They also took home "Japan favorite by U NEXT" (JAPAN FAVORITE by U NEXT), chosen by Japanese music fans' votes, proving their strong popularity overseas.
The six members said, "We are grateful to have received so much love this year. The reason we make music is ONEDOOR (ONEDOOR, the fandom name). As we worked hard this year, we want to bring comfort to many people next year as well. We will become artists who show cooler music and stages. We will repay you with good activities going forward, so we would appreciate your continued support."
BOYNEXTDOOR presented a spectacular stage themed "NEXT BOYNEXTDOOR: Finding Our Next 'HOME'" that day. The VCR drew attention from the start. The short documentary-style footage captured the members' desire to grow further. The following performance of "Hollywood Action" focused attention with its grand arrangement and synchronized choreography performed with dozens of dancers. Their resonant vocals that filled the venue and an unforgettable dance break were also highlights. When they sang "Oneulman I LOVE YOU," the crowd erupted with earth-shaking cheers and mass singing.
BOYNEXTDOOR made remarkable growth this year across all areas of digital tracks, albums and performances. Led by this year's biggest hit "Oneulman I LOVE YOU," title tracks and album tracks from mini albums 4 and 5 have dominated the yearly charts. Both albums easily surpassed first-week sales of 1 million copies, achieving three consecutive million-selling records following mini album 3. They also successfully concluded their first solo tour "BOYNEXTDOOR TOUR 'KNOCK ON Vol.1'" and solidified their position as a powerhouse in performances by appearing at the United States' largest music festival, Lollapalooza Chicago. Thanks to these achievements, they won "Favorite male group" at the 2025 MAMA AWARDS and earned the honor of four awards at MMA2025, proving their elevated standing.
BOYNEXTDOOR's year-end schedule continues. They are set to appear on the 25th at "2025 SBS Gayo Daejeon," on the 27th at Japan's "COUNTDOWN JAPAN 25/26," and on the 31st at MBC's "Gayo Daejejeon" to finish the year in style.
