Actress the late Choi Jin-sil's daughter Choi Jun-hee recalled the painful experience she had in the past due to lupus.
On the 21st, Choi Jun-hee uploaded a photo of her leg taken during her battle with lupus to her social account.
In the photo, Choi Jun-hee's leg was wrapped in bandages, and the skin visible beneath was covered with reddish rashes, indicating a serious condition.
She explained, "It wasn't liposuction on my leg (fat liposuction); I was so overweight for my height that my skin split, lymph fluid ran from my sweat glands, and I lived like this."
She explained the reason she continues dieting even when thin, saying, "Do you think I should gain weight for my health? No no no no no. There was a time like this; would I want to go back.. happy otherwise,"
Choi Jun-hee repeatedly emphasized, "Toxins + body fat + hypertension 200+ compressed my thyroid and I thought all my hip joints would break because of my weight. Diet saved my life."
Meanwhile, it is known that Choi Jun-hee previously suffered from lupus and developed lymphoma as a complication, causing her great pain. At the time, because of treatment side effects she had gained up to 96kg, but she reduced to 41kg through dieting. Some expressed concern about her health for being too thin, but Choi Jun-hee revealed her body composition test results to certify that she is "underweight but healthy."
