Singer and broadcaster Haha publicly aimed a jab at Lee Kwang-soo, who left Running Man.
On the 21st, the 'TteunTteun' channel uploaded a video titled "The 3rd Excuse Go Awards." With various members in attendance, before the awards ceremony MC Yu Jae-seok took time to go over the attendees' recent activities.
When it came to Lee Kwang-soo's turn, Yu Jae-seok said, "Our Kwang-soo is good at variety shows too, but this year he really worked on projects," and relayed his 'hardworking' update.
Lee Kwang-soo said, "This year the work 'Bad Connection' also received a lot of love," and Yu Jae-seok praised him, saying, "I called Kwang-soo." Lee Sang-yi also said, "I really enjoyed watching 'Bad Connection'," and Kim So-hyun agreed, "Isn't Shin Mina senior in that? It was fun."
Lee Kwang-soo mentioned another work, saying, "And 'The Divorce Insurance' with Dong-wook hyung," and Jang Woo-young said, "'The Manipulated' surprised me. The image—" expressing shock at Lee Kwang-soo's acting transformation. Lee Dong-wook said, "Four releases just this year, right?" and Lee Kwang-soo said, "There's also 'I Went to Vietnam and Filmed: I Alone Prince,'" certifying his 'hard work' and drawing admiration.
Yu Jae-seok praised him, saying, "Kwang-soo is really good at variety and acting; that's not easy," and upon hearing this Haha shot back, "Now come back to Running Man! If that's the case, why did you leave, you XX!" provoking laughter.
Lee Kwang-soo was an original member who joined SBS' Running Man in its early days in 2010, and he gained much love by performing as a distinctive character. Through Running Man he grew his recognition at home and abroad and was considered one of the show's biggest beneficiaries, but he ultimately left in 2021 for treatment of aftereffects from a traffic accident.
However, after leaving Running Man, Lee Kwang-soo has been appearing regularly in the 'GBRB' series directed by producer Na Young-seok, from tvN's 'GBRB' to 'GBRB-bapbap' and 'GBRB-pangpang,' showing all-around activity in variety shows. In response, Haha added to the laughter by expressing a sense of betrayal, saying, "If that's the case, why did you leave?"
