Group Oh My Girl member Hyojung was recognized as a leading DJ at KBS.
Hyojung was honored with the DJ of the year award at the 2025 KBS Entertainment Awards held on the 20th. Hyojung, who has been serving as the DJ of KBS CoolFM Oh My Girl Hyojung's Turn Up the Volume since November last year, has delivered her distinctive bright energy to listeners and received much love.
Also, Hyojung, who attended the awards ceremony that day with the Fun-Staurant team as a fixed MC of KBS2's Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant, is being noticed as a next-generation leader who will lead both KBS's flagship variety shows and radio.
After winning the DJ of the year award at the 2025 KBS Entertainment Awards, Hyojung said, "Being the volume DJ has brought many things to be thankful for. It feels like sharing everyday life and like gaining a friend, so it feels reassuring," and expressed gratitude to the staff and listeners. She added, "If Oh My Girl did not exist, I think I would not be here. I also thank the members and the fans."
As expectations grow for the future activities of Hyojung, a member of Korea's leading girl group Oh My Girl who continues to work actively in variety shows, radio and musicals, Oh My Girl Hyojung's Turn Up the Volume can be heard every day from 8 to 10 p.m. on KBS CoolFM (Seoul area frequency FM 89.1MHz) and via the radio applications KBS Kong and KBS Plus, and KBS2's Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant airs every Friday at 8:30 p.m.
