'Sokpulishow Dongchimi' Ham So-won was thrown into confusion, feeling affection when thinking about her ex-husband Jin Hua.
20th aired MBN 'Sokpulishow Dongchimi' (hereafter 'Dongchimi') featured Ham So-won, three years divorced, who has settled in Korea. Ham So-won said, "I moved at the end of February this year. The third floor is my space," introducing that the third floor has a living room, kitchen and Ham So-won's bedroom, and the second floor has her daughter Hye-jeong's room.
Ham So-won married Jin Hua, who is 18 years younger, in 2018 and divorced in 2022. Ham So-won said, "We kept fighting. When one person gets upset, we couldn't have conversations. Daughter Hye-jeong didn't know her parents were fighting, and around age 5 or 6 she noticed her parents fighting," saying that led her to decide on divorce.
After that, Ham So-won said, "Before my child entered elementary school, I heard that we couldn't go somewhere, so we went somewhere. We were going to send her to school in Seoul, so we went before that," saying she traveled abroad with her daughter Hye-jeong and this year settled in Korea.
Ham So-won's daily life began around 10 a.m. Her daughter Hye-jeong's school commute was handled by a hired school attendant. Ham So-won said, "I do live broadcasts in China, and when it ends at midnight in China, that is 1 a.m. Korean time, so after the late-night broadcast I tidy up and then fall asleep around 3 to 4 a.m. I thought I needed a school attendant, so I asked," saying she had no choice.
She woke up in the morning, tidied the house, grilled beef to eat and read a printed newspaper. Then, as she runs a business, Ham So-won spent a busy morning taking business calls. She even exercised, looking, quite literally, perfect.
Then someone who turned Ham So-won's world upside down appeared. It was her ex-husband Jin Hua. Ham So-won said, "Jin Hua came to Korea saying he would see our daughter Hye-jeong. After seeing her, he said he'd come again next week. Hye-jeong was fine with it. Since we have to be responsible for Hye-jeong until she is 20 anyway, we practiced living together," and Kim Hyun-suk empathized, saying, "Having a child makes a real difference. If there's a child, responsibility must be shared."
Ham So-won said, "So even if we are together, I'm researching how we can avoid fighting," and Jin Hua agreed, saying, "Hye-jeong wants her parents to be together. So I think we were contemplating how to advance our relationship in front of Hye-jeong."
However, the two fought at the drop of a hat. In particular, Ham So-won showed worry about Jin Hua's health whenever he did something. Jin Hua said, "When I'm next to Ham So-won, I'm still nervous. If I do something, she says, 'Hey!'"
Ham So-won said, "Maybe because I forced it on Jin Hua, but reading before bed and exercise became habits. I think sitz baths are good for health, so I hope he makes them a habit," and Lee Hyun-ie said, "You divorced, aren't you a stranger now?" expressing she couldn't understand.
Regarding this, psychiatrist Lee Gwang-min said, "You two are at your best now. If you reconcile, things will get worse," adding, "Right now anxiety is the basis. There is worry that if the ex-husband ends up badly it could negatively affect me and the child. When anxiety increases, its realism increases, that's why." Ham So-won tilted her head, saying, "Is this affection or love?" and Lee Gwang-min emphasized again, saying, "It's anxiety."
