Mukbang YouTuber Tzuyang once again surprised viewers by showing an unimaginably large-scale mukbang in Sapporo, Japan.
On the MBC Omniscient Interfering View broadcast aired yesterday on the 20th, footage was shown of Tzuyang leaving for a business trip to Hokkaido, Japan, to shoot content. That day, Tzuyang visited a local convenience store during the schedule and from the start demonstrated her extraordinary stomach capacity by performing what is known as a "cart mukbang."
Filling the cart so full of food that it was packed, Tzuyang divided the food into a total of eight bags and headed to her accommodation. The total on the receipt printed at the register was 20,845 yen, about 200,000 won, prompting gasps from the panelists.
Arriving at the accommodation, Tzuyang put the food in order one by one and first tasted the melon ice cream she had been curious about. On the table was such a vast amount of food that someone commented it would be enough to restock a convenience store. Tzuyang took out a ladle and spoon she had brought from Korea, tied her hair up tightly, and began the mukbang in earnest.
Eating nonstop through varied menu items such as sausage, pork cutlet rice bowl, giant triangle kimbap, and rolled omelet, Tzuyang said she craved something refreshing and even ordered more via a delivery app to complete the dessert course. When Yang Se-hyung, watching this, asked, "If you eat this much, are you hungry again a few hours later?" Tzuyang replied, "I'm always the type to be hungry. When I eat slowly I don't feel full easily. Now I was hungry but I'm a little better," stirring the studio.
The mukbang did not end there. Tzuyang further proved her food fighter credentials by eating ramen she brought from Korea and sushi ordered for delivery. The total calories Tzuyang consumed that morning were calculated at about 18,080 kcal. Even so, the manager revealed Tzuyang's weight as 60 kg, a figure that contrasted with the enormous intake and once again surprised the cast.
Next, Tzuyang visited the largest fish market in Sapporo to attempt an extra-large mukbang. In the studio he confessed, "Actually I have a shellfish allergy," surprising the cast, but at the site she ordered as much as 10 kg of hairy crab, Hokkaido's representative specialty, creating a stir. She piled the picked crab meat like a mountain and showcased a mukbang with the so-called "snowflake crab shaved ice" visual, drawing admiration.
However, during the mukbang, immediately after Jun Hyun-moo asked, "What on earth do you mean by having a shellfish allergy?", Tzuyang suddenly cried out "Aaah" in pain and was seen running to the bathroom, adding tension.
Afterward, Tzuyang went to a well-known challenge-eating restaurant in Japan and took on the "5 kg giant curry." Facing a mission to finish a 5 kg curry within the 50-minute time limit, Tzuyang said, "Honestly, I'm full," and added, "When I eat slowly I don't feel full well, but eating fast made me feel full for the first time in a while. Still, the fullness usually subsides within five minutes," which drew laughter.
In the end, Tzuyang succeeded in the challenge with 5 minutes and 36 seconds remaining before the time limit ended, surprising even the local owner and customers. When the panelists said, "You must have been really full that day," Tzuyang said, "After actually eating I felt fine," and revealed, "I went back to the accommodation and ate again," delivering another shock.
That day, the total calories Tzuyang consumed in Hokkaido in one day tallied an astounding 50,990 kcal, stirring the studio. Meanwhile, Tzuyang was born in 1997 and is 28 this year.<
