'Screwballs' Cho Sae-ho's fake news sparked his mother's anger.
On Jan. 21, Netflix's "Screwballs season 3: Screwballs disbandment show" released an episode organized as "Cho Sae-ho SHOW."
In the broadcast, Cho Sae-ho held a solo talk show and ran a segment called 'real or fake.' It was a corner where guests listened to Cho Sae-ho's episodes and distinguished between real and fake episodes, and Cho Sae-ho revealed an episode in which he once got so drunk that he fell asleep in a phone booth with Kim Kyung-wook and a writer, but it turned out that episode belonged to the writer, not Cho Sae-ho.
Next, Cho Sae-ho revealed an episode from middle school when his mother was showering and hand-washing his school uniform, and Cho Sae-ho and his friends barged in and were embarrassed; using quick thinking, he put on his wet uniform and came out calmly. In response, Joo Woo-jae and Kim Sook chose 'real,' while Hong Jin Kyung and Jang Woo-young chose 'fake.'
To verify the truth, a phone call was connected with Cho Sae-ho's mother. After hearing the episode, Cho Sae-ho's mother erupted, saying, "What kind of nonsense is that? Why would I put on a school uniform and go out? Is that a statement or a fart?" Cho Sae-ho joked, "I must have been confused," drawing laughter.
