Davichi member Kang Min-kyung quickly issued a statement after it was revealed that 'injection aunt' followed her.
On the 20th, Kang Min-kyung opened up on her personal account, saying, "Lately, some people seem curious in my Instagram or YouTube comments about matters unrelated to me, so I'm speaking cautiously."
She said, "Because of the nature of social media, it's difficult to know exactly who is following my account," and added, "But the things people are worried about are completely unrelated to me."
Kang Min-kyung did not make any specific remarks, but this is presumed to relate to the recent 'injection aunt' issue that began with Park Na-rae. When the SNS of A, known as the so-called 'injection aunt,' was made public, news spread that among the celebrities she follows was Kang Min-kyung.
Some netizens raised suspicions that Kang Min-kyung might also be connected to the injection aunt, and Kang Min-kyung opened her mouth directly to explain after the matter was raised in Instagram and YouTube comments.
Kang Min-kyung said, "I'm posting this because I don't want to cause unnecessary worry to those waiting for our concert in January," adding, "our Dakodong, I was worried you might be concerned ♥"
Earlier, Jun Hyun-moo also issued a swift statement when footage of him receiving an IV in a car was reexamined, saying, "The scene being discussed is from a 2016 I Live Alone broadcast. Jun Hyun-moo's throat condition was not good at the time, and he received treatment under the attending physician's examination and prescription at the hospital. Because there was not enough time before the filming schedule, under the doctor's judgment it was unavoidable to finish the treatment while moving, and part of that process was exposed on the broadcast."
The agency added, "Except for the completion of the treatment, all medical procedures were conducted inside the hospital under the judgment and prescription of the medical staff. There was no personal summoning of a medical professional or receipt of illegal procedures. We say that the current allegations stem from misunderstandings caused when parts of the footage circulated online without sufficiently conveying the overall situation and context at the time."
Jun Hyun-moo's side said, "We ask that people refrain from baseless speculation and distorted interpretations so that misunderstandings contrary to the facts do not spread in relation to this matter."
Amid reports that Park Na-rae, SHINee's Key, and the YouTuber Ipjjalbeun Haetnim have suspended activities over alleged ties to the injection aunt, Jun Hyun-moo and Kang Min-kyung appear to be responding quickly to address possible suspicions and contain the situation.
Meanwhile, Davichi's 2026 solo concert TIME CAPSULE: connecting time, which includes Kang Min-kyung, will be held at Olympic Park KSPO Dome for two performances on Jan. 24 and 25 next year.
