TOMORROW X TOGETHER Taehyun announced the start of a successful busking with his own sensitivity and voice.
Taehyun appeared on "Change Street," which premiered on ENA on the 20th. "Change Street" is a new-concept cultural exchange program in which artists representing Korea and Japan enter each other's streets, languages and sensibilities to communicate through music.
That day Taehyun took the stage as the first performer of the busking. Visiting a park in Chiba Prefecture, Japan, he told the local audience, "I always stay with the members, so I'm nervous to sing alone. I will try to make you feel the emotions even when I sing in Korean." He then performed Seong Si-kyung's "On the street" with a sweet yet pleading tone. His singing captured the attention of passersby, and MCs watching in the studio praised his deep emotional expression and vocal ability, saying, "I didn't know he was this good at ballads" and "His voice is so good."
Taehyun also showed his presence as the "youngest of the Korean team." He blended naturally with Lee Seung-gi, Super Junior Ryeowook and Chungha, who busked together. He also dubbed the four-member combination the "visual team," making everyone laugh.
Previously Taehyun has proven his unrivaled live skills across various content. Songs by TOMORROW X TOGETHER that contain narratives, as well as his solo, featuring and cover tracks, have received praise from global music fans with every release. As this is his first challenge on a TV music variety show through "Change Street," he is expected to leave a strong impression on the general public beyond MOA (the fandom name).
Meanwhile, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, of which Taehyun is a member, continues to achieve meaningful results thanks to active promotions this year. Billboard's 2025 year-end charts included the group in five categories, including "top album sales" and "top current album sales," proving their competitiveness. Oricon's "Annual Ranking 2025" placed this year's full-length album 4 "The Star Chapter: TOGETHER" and the Japanese full-length album 3 "Starkissed," as well as last November's mini album 7 "The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY" (Sanctuary) on the annual album ranking.
