Group aespa member Ningning will miss part of the MMA 2025 schedule due to a decline in her condition.
SM Entertainment said on the 20th, "Ningning is unable to attend the red carpet event scheduled for today due to a decline in her condition from cold symptoms," it said.
It added, "However, due to the artist's strong will to perform, after focusing on adjusting her stamina and condition except for the red carpet schedule, she plans to attend the main stage and some events as scheduled to meet fans."
Accordingly, Ningning is also expected to be seen on aespa's stage at the 2025 Melon Music Awards (MMA 2025) that day.
SM added, "This decision was made while considering the artist's health and the completeness of the performance together, so we ask for the generous understanding of fans."
Meanwhile, MMA 2025 will be held at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, and attendees include aespa, Blackpink's Jennie, RIIZE, ILLIT, Hearts2Hearts, ALLDAY PROJECT, BOYNEXTDOOR, Zico, EXO, and G-Dragon.
