On the afternoon of the 19th, in tvN 'Reply 1988 10th anniversary', to celebrate the 10th anniversary of 'Reply 88' the actors' story of leaving for a 2 Days & 1 Night trip to Gangwon unfolded.
The 'Reply 1988' 10th anniversary gathering initially began with regret as news spread that Ryu Jun-yeol would have difficulty attending due to a packed filming schedule. But immediately after filming began, when Ryu Jun-yeol appeared on set without any notice, everyone was stunned.
At his entrance a shout of "You said you couldn't come!" and cheers erupted, and Ryu Jun-yeol smiled sheepishly and greeted them. In fact, he was in a situation where it was hard to remove the filming schedule, but he confirmed that his next filming location happened to be near the meeting place and made a surprise appearance to at least take part in the opening shoot.
Facing his family, Ryu Jun-yeol said, "It's really been a long time. I saw Jeong-bong hyung (Ahn Jae-hong) and mom (Ra Mi-ran) at a film premiere, but it's been really long since I saw father," showing special affection. In particular, he made the set burst into laughter by throwing a cheeky joke at Kim Seong-gyun, who played the father, saying, "Father, how is it that you don't seem to age?"
