The group ENHYPEN opens the 2026 K-pop season with an epic work that features a grand narrative, experimental track arrangements and unprecedented scale.
ENHYPEN (Jeongwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Ni-ki) uploaded the album teaser for mini album 7 THE SIN : VANISH on HYBE Labels' YouTube channel at 10 p.m. on the 19th. The video, set against the great outdoors such as caves and deserts, compressively conveys the new album's narrative about the flight of vampire lovers.
The video begins with Sunoo, who is lying on the ground and opens his eyes as he is hit by cold rain, showing a striking visual, and then shows ENHYPEN urgently fleeing somewhere. Moments of joy and scenes of confusion in the dark quickly alternate, heightening tension. Wanted posters featuring the seven members' faces hint at their status as fugitives.
At the end of the video, the phrase announcing the prologue of a new story ("THE STORY BEGINS") appears along with a teaser for 10 p.m. on the 22nd, raising curiosity about what clue might be unveiled that day.
THE SIN : VANISH tells the story of lovers who broke taboos and fled for love in a world where humans and vampires coexist. Hiding in a refuge to avoid the pursuers who uphold society's rules, they experience the thrill and happiness of breaking the rules while at the same time being caught in a whirlpool of complex emotions such as guilt and remorse.
To vividly convey this "dark fantasy" narrative, THE SIN : VANISH was produced in the form of a "concept album." It is a record in which the story and emotional line that run through the entire album have been meticulously designed into the narrative, lyrics and sound of every track. As part of this, the new album unfolds under a single theme of a fictional investigative and reporting program called "Mystery Show," which deals with unsolved cases in vampire society. To create the immersive feeling of actually listening to a program, the album will present a daring track arrangement that places various narrations and skits (dramatic scenes) alongside the songs where appropriate.
Having built a distinctive storytelling style so far, ENHYPEN has signaled a fresh attempt with a "concept album," drawing global fans' expectations for their move to expand the boundaries of entertainment. THE SIN : VANISH will be released at 2 p.m. on Jan. 16 next year.
