Kim Ju-ha revealed the truth about a hellish married life, shocking viewers.
On the night of the 20th, MBN 'Kim Ju-ha's Day & Night' episode 5 featured psychiatrist and medical doctor Oh Eun-young, who looked into the shocking story tied to Kim Ju-ha's past marriage.
On that broadcast, Kim Ju-ha confessed that the man she had met after being introduced by her mother-in-law as "having a single son" before marriage turned out to have been a married man until just one month before marrying her, a fact she learned belatedly, which shocked viewers.
Kim Ju-ha said of her feelings after learning of the divorce, "I tried in every way to fix it, but even if you glue a broken vase, you can't put anything in it once it's cracked," and recalled, "No matter what was said, I began not to believe it." She added, "That person eventually started seeing another woman. That woman lived on the 16th floor directly across from the house where we were living at the time. You could see everything the two of them did there," causing a stir in the studio.
When Moon Se-yoon asked, "Did you see it yourself?" Kim Ju-ha answered, "I did see it," amplifying the shock. When asked, "Was the house also provided there?" she gave a brief reply, "Yes." Kim Ju-ha said she asked why he had chosen such a nearby place to get a house, and her ex-husband reportedly said, 'Didn't you ask if it was too close for me, too.'
Kim Ju-ha also disclosed an anecdote about finding suspicious card charges right after moving. She said, "Charges kept coming in by text for places like hair salons, nail salons and women-only saunas. I thought the card had been used fraudulently and told him to report it, but my husband just let it go," adding, "I found it strange, so I memorized all the charges and went to the places that had been charged on weekdays." She continued, "In that process I heard at one place that 'they live in ○○ apartment,' and through a real estate agent I confirmed the recently moved-in person and eventually learned which unit they lived in," a revelation that shocked listeners.
Kim Ju-ha said, "What I found most galling when I learned the truth was that after deceiving me into marriage there wasn't even an apology," and added, "At first I thought it might be my fault, that maybe I had been so angry he had cheated, but it turned out to have been a relationship that had been ongoing for some time."
In particular, Kim Ju-ha revealed that her ex-husband had been bringing their child to the mistress's home, adding to the shock. She said, "On the first day I was making kimchi in my life, I was so tired I asked him to crush the garlic, and suddenly he threw a bowl and took the child and left," and added, "When he came back the child said, 'I played with auntie.' That auntie was the other woman," drawing sympathy. She added, "According to the child, dad was in the room with that auntie."
In response, Dr. Oh Eun-young said, "Taking a child to a place to meet an affair partner is clear child abuse," and strongly criticized, "A parent should instinctively never do that. It is something that must never be done."
Meanwhile, Kim Ju-ha is a South Korean news anchor and broadcaster, born in 1973 and 52 years old this year. She filed for divorce in October 2013 citing assault by her husband, and the divorce was finalized in September 2014 after 11 years of marriage.<
