Singer Chuu (CHUU) further expanded the world of her first full-length album with another teaser.
On the 19th at 6 p.m., her agency ATRP released new teaser images for Chuu's first full-length album 'XO, My Cyberlove' through official social media channels.
The released teaser features a scene with selectable modes such as 'Offline', 'Online', and 'Hyperlink' displayed on a computer screen. Among them, the scene selecting 'L0VE' is shown along with a series of new teaser images of Chuu, leaving a strong impression. The scene choosing 'love' amid options that traverse reality and unreality, online and offline, stimulates imagination about what story this album will unfold.
This teaser metaphorically reveals emotions and relationships placed on the boundary between reality and unreality as a continuation of previously released content. Beyond a simple setting, the act of choosing expands the meaning of the album title 'XO, My Cyberlove' more three-dimensionally and adds depth to the narrative.
In the images released together, Chuu appears, unlike the blonde look shown in earlier teasers, with short bangs, naturally tousled hair, and wearing a pink sweater. Scenes of her riding a bicycle or holding a doll like a real puppy create a somewhat unfamiliar atmosphere despite being everyday moments. The visuals, cold and mysterious in mood, convey a presence of a different order from reality and hint at another layer of the story.
Also released via social media was the phrase "She does not occupy the same coordinates as reality. She exists on a different plane than the ground where people stand," which leaves room for interpretation of the album's worldview and narrative and raises expectations for future content releases.
Chuu, who has won public affection with a bright and healthy image, has steadily expanded her musical spectrum starting with her first solo mini album 'Howl' in 2021 and continuing with 'Strawberry Rush' and 'Only cry in the rain.' Her first full-length album 'XO, My Cyberlove' is expected to be a work that completes the musical narrative she has built into a single world.
Chuu's first full-length album 'XO, My Cyberlove' will be released on various music sites on Jan. 7 at 6 p.m. next year.
