Actress and singer Son Dam-bi revealed her own parenting methods.
Son Dam-bi uploaded a video titled "Playing with an 8-month-old, reading books, parenting education, mom Son Dam-bi's study method" to her YouTube channel "DambiSon" on the 19th.
In the video, Son Dam-bi said, "These days our Hae-i is shown these kinds of books and I wanted to show that I study these kinds of books for Hae-i, so I tried it once at home, but we are a little unsettled because we are moving houses now."
Introducing the books on a rotating bookshelf, she explained, "These books are the ones Hae-i has been reading a lot these days." She continued, "There are more books than I thought. I have consistently read to her from the newborn period to now, and when I show the books she has been looking at recently, the ones I bought first were more here. They are pop-up picture books."
She added, "Since I'm a first-time mother, I'm going through trial and error and I have a lot of opinions, but I actually didn't know much when I started and I'm studying as I go, so honestly even if something doesn't suit someone, don't parents have their own parenting methods?"
She went on, "I actually try various things. I read this to her, then I read that to her, and I'm doing various things now. But doing various things like this, I found things that Hae-i likes."
Meanwhile, Son Dam-bi married national team speed skater Lee Gyu-hyuk in 2022 and welcomed her first daughter, Hae-i, through in vitro fertilization in April.
