Park Myung-soo directly revealed the harrowing health crisis he experienced while filming "Infinite Challenge" in the past.
On the 20th, a video titled "They say 'Do-jjonku' is trending so we came to Dubai but they don't sell this in Dubai, Minho, Dubai part 2, Hal Myung-soo ep.267" was released on the YouTube channel "Hal Myung-soo." The video featured Park Myung-soo and SHINee's Minho traveling in Dubai.
While traveling that day, Park Myung-soo recalled pushing himself too hard during past variety show shoots and spoke candidly about his health. He recalled, "On 'Infinite Challenge' I picked up and ate these kinds of foods with my hands. I was grabbing hot sweet-and-sour pork with my hands and eating it. The members asked, 'Myung-soo, what are you doing?' but I thought, what's the big deal and ate it."
He continued, "As far as I remember, I even picked up things that had fallen on the ground and ate them," and said, "At that time my nickname became 'Cool Myung-soo' so I pushed myself more to be funny. But that eventually led to hepatitis A." He calmly summarized the moment, saying, "I ate things to be funny, I really lived hard."
Park Myung-soo's hospitalization for acute hepatitis A was shown on the 2009 MBC "Infinite Challenge," causing great concern. Since then, he has emphasized the importance of health management on radio and various broadcasts, saying, "To prevent hepatitis A, personal hygiene is important. You must always keep your hands clean."
