I Live Alone introduced a new face, announcer Ko Gang-yong.
On the afternoon of the 19th, the MBC program I Live Alone aired, showing the scene of Ko Gang-yong and his mother visiting his son's rented room.
Ko Gang-yong said in an interview, "My mother wanted to visit her son in Seoul after a long time, so I brought her," revealing both excitement and nervousness.
Before his mother arrived, Ko Gang-yong launched into a "storm cleaning" and busily moved around. Short on time, he had no leisure to sit at the table and, standing in the kitchen, hurriedly gulped down soy sauce egg rice, showing the realistic habits of a person living alone and drawing laughter.
Ko Gang-yong went to the terminal to meet his mother and greeted her warmly, but the atmosphere reversed as soon as they entered the house. As she looked around her son's home, his mother said, "It smells nice since it's been a while," delivering sharp nagging remarks, and pointed out hair on the floor, kicking off full-fledged "mom-style nagging" that made Ko Gang-yong break into a sweat.
But the mother's true feelings for her son were revealed inside the bundle. From the carefully packed luggage she had brought came no fewer than 12 neatly prepared side dishes and freshly made kimchi, prompting admiration from the cast.
After tasting the freshly made kimchi, Ko Gang-yong repeatedly exclaimed, "It's so delicious," and he honestly said in the studio, "No matter how tasty kimchi you eat outside, it can never match a mother's touch."
