Today (20th) on the MBC variety show 'Omniscient Interfering View' (planner Kang Young-sun, directors Kim Yoon-jip·Jeon Jae-wook·Kim Hae-ni·Jung Dong-sik·Lee Da-un, writer Yeo Hyun-jeon) episode 377 reveals Tzuyang's super-sized mukbang challenge unfolding in Sapporo, Japan.
First, Tzuyang visits Sapporo's largest fish market and proves a class on another level. She orders a Hokkaido specialty, hairy crab, weighing a full 10kg, emptying the tank and turning the market upside down from the start. Tzuyang then piles crab meat like a mountain to make and eat a so-called "snow crab bingsu." Even veteran merchants were said to be left speechless at Tzuyang's mukbang visuals that defy imagination.
After finishing the 10kg hairy crab mukbang, back at the lodging Tzuyang pulls out food she calls a "digestive" which turns out to be ramen and pasta, shocking the studio. It raises curiosity about how far Tzuyang's great stomach can go.
Immediately after, she raises dopamine to a peak with a "5kg giant curry" challenge mukbang. Tzuyang takes on a mission to eat the equivalent of 10 bowls of rice worth of curry and a mountain of fried toppings within a 50-minute time limit. Faced with an overwhelming curry that even an adult man would struggle to lift, Tzuyang shows anxious signs from the start, saying "I don't know if I can eat it all within the time." In the later part of the challenge she even makes the shocking remark "Honestly, I'm full," causing a stir. Fans are excited to see whether Tzuyang, facing a historic obstacle, can conquer Sapporo in this "great challenge."
Meanwhile, at the scene that day Tzuyang's manager Oh Su-bin also steps up to challenge a 1.5kg curry mukbang, creating a side story to the "great challenge." The manager, who has honed extraordinary mukbang skills while watching Tzuyang's mukbangs from the front row, may well become the next "mukbang prodigy" to follow Tzuyang. Expectations are high to see what kind of performance the manager will show against the considerable 1.5kg portion.
