JYP Entertainment rookie KickFlip made the list on Billboard's year-end settlement of account in the United States.
On the 18th (local time), according to 'The 25 Best K-Pop Songs of 2025: Staff Picks' released on Billboard's official website, the title track of KickFlip's third mini album released last September, 'My First Flip' (My First Flip), "The First Song I Sing" ranked 21st.
Billboard said, "JYP Entertainment boy group KickFlip combines bright energy and the speed unique to the rock genre to powerfully evoke first-love feelings. The progression that starts with hesitation and then bursts into a sprint is rough but vividly expresses the moments of honest first love. Their band format, which performed at Lollapalooza Chicago just six months after debut, makes future live performances even more anticipated."
The latest song "The First Song I Sing," co-written and composed by maknae Donghyun, is an uptempo dance song based on pop punk that blends powerful synth sounds and guitar riffs. It depicts the moment of confessing with a pounding heart, raising the excitement level of K-pop fans at home and abroad. In particular, KickFlip not only lifted their first terrestrial music show No. 1 trophy with "The First Song I Sing" but also attracted attention overseas, reaffirming their presence as a "K-pop super rookie."
KickFlip will embark on a nationwide tour for their first fan concert, "2026 KickFlip FAN-CON 'From KickFlip, To WeFlip'" (2026 KickFlip fan con 'From KickFlip, To WeFlip') to commemorate their first debut anniversary on Jan. 20, 2026. Starting with Seoul performances on Jan. 17-18 next year, they will meet fans and create happy memories with a total of 12 performances across five cities nationwide: Busan on the 24th, Gwangju on the 31st, Cheongju on Feb. 21, and Daegu on the 28th.
