Comedian Cho Sae-ho was absent for the first recording of 2 Days & 1 Night.
On the 19th, a representative of the KBS 2TV variety program 2 Days & 1 Night told OSEN, "It is true that 2 Days & 1 Night was filmed at a location in the provinces that day. Mr. Cho Sae-ho left the program immediately after suspending his broadcasting activities and did not participate, and the recording proceeded with the remaining members without a successor," the program issued an official statement.
Cho Sae-ho recently suspended his broadcasting activities on the 9th after being embroiled in allegations of ties to organized crime. He also left 2 Days & 1 Night, on which he had been appearing. The first recording of 2 Days & 1 Night after Cho Sae-ho's departure took place today (the 19th).
However, footage of Cho Sae-ho filmed earlier continues to air. The production team also said it would continue temporarily with a five-member lineup of Kim Jong-min, Moon Se-yoon, Lee Jun, DinDin and Yoo Seon-ho without a successor for Cho Sae-ho. As a result, attention is focused on the 2 Days & 1 Night recording that day.
