Broadcaster Choi Hwa-jung revealed the story of saving Kim Kwang-kyu in her phone as 'No baby,' drawing laughter.
On the 19th episode of the SBS entertainment show My Grumpy Secretary (hereinafter "My Grumpy Secretary"), 'eternal wild rose girl' Choi Hwa-jung appeared as the eleventh 'my star (my star)'.
On the episode, Choi Hwa-jung appeared flustered when she could not find Kim Kwang-kyu's contact saved in her phone. Watching this, Kim Kwang-kyu said, "Haven't we spoken once before? We also exchanged text messages," and Choi Hwa-jung rummaged through her phone, asking, "Is he saved as 'Baby'?" which prompted laughter.
Soon after, when Kim Kwang-kyu called directly, the name 'No baby' appeared on Choi Hwa-jung's phone screen and surprised everyone. Seeing this, Choi Hwa-jung said, "I must have a lot of babies," and explained, "So I saved Kwang-kyu as 'No (old) baby,' an old baby," which caused uproarious laughter.
Choi Hwa-jung then revealed how Kim Kwang-kyu came to call her 'Baby.' She began, "Even if there's only a one-year difference, there are people who respectfully call others 'senior, senior.' Then I treat them like juniors," and added, "But Kwang-kyu called me 'teacher.' So I asked how he wanted to call me, and he said he wanted to be called 'Baby,'" which turned the set into a sea of laughter.
Choi Hwa-jung added with her characteristic frank wit, "You have to endure Kwang-kyu's gags at least once," adding another round of laughter.
Meanwhile, Choi Hwa-jung was born in 1961 and is 64 this year. She continues active engagement with the public as an actress and broadcaster through various entertainment programs and her personal YouTube channel.<
