"Reply 1988 10th anniversary" drama "Reply 1988"'s "Jeongbongi's" family reunited again, crossing 10 years.
On the afternoon of the 19th, tvN's "Reply 1988 10th anniversary" featured the actors leaving for a 2 Days & 1 Night trip to Gangwon-do to celebrate the 10th anniversary of "Eungpal"
At the "Reply 1988" 10th anniversary gathering, Jeongbongi family members Kim Seong-gyun, Ra Mi-ran and Ahn Jae-hong gathered in one place. The person who surprised everyone that day was Ryu Jun-yeol, who played the second son "Jeong-hwan."
Initially Ryu Jun-yeol's attendance was uncertain due to a packed schedule, but he appeared on site without notice, astonishing his colleagues. At Ryu Jun-yeol's appearance, the cast all shouted in unison, "You said you couldn't come!" expressing their delight. It was said that Ryu Jun-yeol showed "extraordinary loyalty" by rushing over because his next filming schedule happened to be nearby and he wanted to join even for the opening shoot.
Ryu Jun-yeol offered warm greetings to the family he met after a long time. Ryu Jun-yeol said, "It's really been a long time since I've seen you. I met Jeongbongi hyung (Ahn Jae-hong) and mom (Ra Mi-ran) at a film screening, but it's really been a long time for father," he reflected. Especially toward Kim Seong-gyun, who played the father, he jokingly said, "Father does not age," showing off their unchanged "father-son chemistry."
At the scene that day, an unexpected behind-the-scenes story related to master director Park Chan-wook was also revealed and drew attention. Ryu Jun-yeol said, "Director Park Chan-wook, who usually doesn't watch dramas much, said he really enjoyed watching 'Eungpal,'" which surprised everyone. Ahn Jae-hong added, "I also heard that director Park Chan-wook watched our drama many times."
