'Chef and the hunter' revealed personal teaser videos for all cast members.
Channel A's new variety show 'Chef and the hunter,' which will premiere Jan. 8, 2026, at 10 p.m., opened individual teaser videos for Edward Lee and Kim Dae-ho on the 15th and 18th, respectively.
From the beginning of his personal teaser video, Edward Lee showed confidence in cooking, saying, "I'm confident as long as I have a knife and a cutting board." He then prepared a variety of dishes on the spot based on a wellspring of ideas, putting on a feast of flavors. In particular, after seeing a wild lizard, he boldly caught it and, asking, "Which part is the tastiest?" revealed his charisma as a chef. Interest is focusing on what dishes Edward Lee will present on 'Chef and the hunter.'
Edward Lee was serious about hunting as well. He showed unusual passion for sourcing ingredients, directly entering the sea to gather seafood and fishing in rivers even in bad weather.
In his personal teaser video, Kim Dae-ho showed an unstoppable approach. While surveying the forest, he found pig droppings. Despite local residents' discouragement, his bold act of smelling it surprised viewers. Also, when told there was a chicken ahead, he ran at it without hesitation to capture it, demonstrating his presence as a hunter.
Kim Dae-ho also showcased his variety-show side, adding to the viewing fun. Enthusiastically tasting foods and roaring, and screaming while hanging from a tree, he showed a 'raw' side without restraint. Kim Dae-ho is expected to provide fresh laughter as the energy source of 'Chef and the hunter.'
'Chef and the hunter' is an extreme survival gourmet exploration variety show in which cast members present the ultimate feast using ingredients they hunted themselves in the harsh wild. Individual teaser videos for Choo Sung Hoon and Lim Woo-il were previously released and drew attention. Viewers are curious to see what chemistry they will show on 'Chef and the hunter.'
