"Hip-pop Princess" will finally produce the long-awaited debut group through the final live broadcast stage.
Today (18th) at 9:50 p.m. (KST), the Mnet Korea-Japan joint project Unpretty Rapstar: Hip-pop Princess (hereinafter "Hip-pop Princess") will hold the final stage competing for a simultaneous Korea-Japan debut in the first half of 2026.
It is expected to be the final journey toward debut and a historic moment announcing the birth of a global hip-hop group. Choi Gayoon, Choi Yumin, Han Heeyeon, Hina, Kim Doi, Kim Sujin, Coco, Lee Jueun, Min Ji-ho, Mirika, Nam Yujoo, Nico, Rino, Sasa, Yoon Chaeun, Yoon Seoyoung (in alphabetical order) — a total of 16 participants will take the final stage.
The final will be conducted by dividing participants into three units to complete new-song stages. The biggest point of interest is which members will form each team, and because the stages are directly tied to debut, the participants prepared their performances with more determination than ever. In addition, three new-song stages will be unveiled for the first time through the final, further raising expectations.
The debut group born that day is scheduled to debut simultaneously in Korea and Japan in the first half of 2026 and begin full-scale activities on the global stage beyond Asia. The debut group's name is also drawing attention from global fans. The participants have directly participated in processes such as music, choreography, styling, and video production, showing a clear distinction in skill. All eyes are on who will realize their debut dream on the final stage, which will be the culmination of the journey.
