Actress Han Go-eun showed exceptional family affection by preparing a separate room inside her house for her nieces and nephews.
On the 18th, a video titled '10 ingenious room-decorating items chosen by Han Go-eun (furniture shopping tips, Christmas)' was released on the YouTube channel 'Goeun unni Han Go-eun'.
In the video, Han Go-eun told the story of how she converted a space previously used as her husband's study into a room for her nieces and nephews. Han Go-eun said, "My sibling in the United States has two daughters. When the nieces visited Korea when they were young, I would lay a topper on the floor and have them sleep there. But they have grown a lot now. Last time they stayed for a month, and I felt bad having them sleep on the floor, so I made a room for the kids."
Because the space was for her nieces and nephews, Han Go-eun paid close attention to every part of the room. Han Go-eun said, "I designed the bunk bed as a built-in. I put cushions on the wall so it wouldn't hurt if they toss and turn. I made a two-level bed as a bunker bed and also laid an electric mat," introducing details that considered both the safety and comfort of the children.
She also prepared a custom-made desk rather than an ordinary piece of furniture. Han Go-eun said, "The desk was made using the same material used for kitchen countertops," saying she considered both space utilization and durability.
During the room tour, Han Go-eun revealed one letter and family photo after another that she had received from her nieces and nephews, showing special affection. She said, "They are now middle school students. I don't know how much they've grown. I heard they are about the same height as their mother," and could not hide her delight.
She also set clear standards for the concept of decorating the room. Han Go-eun said, "I want to decorate it to feel like a children's room. I also plan to give it a Christmas feel. I want to make it a princess room," and she showed herself visiting furniture and household goods specialty brands to pick out a Christmas tree, decorative items, chairs, and stand lamps.
Meanwhile, Han Go-eun married Shin Young-soo, who is four years her junior, in 2015.<
