tvN real gangsta sitcom 'Chagane' is raising expectations by previewing an unprecedented real spicy-flavor journey in January 2026.
Chagane, which premieres on Jan. 8, 2026 (Thursday), and is directed by Yang Jung-woo, Lee Jung-won, Lee Ji-suk and Jeon Hye-rim, is a real spicy-flavor sitcom about the gangsta family Chagane, who are aiming for a life-changing break by developing a new spicy sauce. It will depict a journey in which the hottest men of 2025 set off across Asia to find new and diverse spicy flavors, offering differentiated fun. Leading a 15-year friendship, Cha Seung-won and Choo Sung Hoon are joined by Tomi, DinDin and Danny Gu to complete a fresh combination that crosses genres and characters.

Another new year teaser reveals Cha Seung-won and Choo Sung Hoon's cheerful new year greeting, adding a surprising charm. After the laughter-filled greeting, "See you in January 2026. Happy New Year," the two men reveal candid ambitions for a sauce hit and deliver unexpected laughs. When Choo Sung Hoon says, "If the sauce is a hit, you'll make money fast, hyung," Cha Seung-won replies, "I won't treat you unfairly.
