Singer and broadcaster Yoon Bo-mi will join the ranks of married women in May next year.
On the 18th, her agency Withus Entertainment issued an official statement saying, "Yoon Bo-mi will tie the knot with a precious partner who has stood by her side for a long time in May next year."
It added, "Please give warm support to the two as they open a new chapter in their lives," and said, "Yoon Bo-mi plans to continue steady activities as a member of Apink, an actress and an entertainer even after marriage. She will return in a more mature and responsible manner so she can repay the fans who have always supported her."
Before the official statement, Yoon Bo-mi also posted a handwritten letter on the fan cafe and expressed regret, saying, "I feel very sorry that my news reached fans first through articles so suddenly."
Yoon Bo-mi announced the marriage news, saying, "After my teens and 20s, I have become 33-year-old Yoon Bo-mi, and I have decided to spend the rest of my life with someone who has shared daily life with me for a long time and has been with me through joyful and difficult times."
She expressed gratitude, saying, "As I have done so far, I will continue to live more solidly without losing my sense of responsibility in my place. And I will repay Pandas with better activities as Apink and as Yoon Bo-mi. Thank you. Always grateful, really very grateful."
Meanwhile, Yoon Bo-mi and producer Rado met while working on Apink's third full-length album in 2016 and are known to have started dating in 2017. The two, who overcame a nine-year age difference and dated for nine years, will tie the knot in May next year.
