The first all-heart winner of 'Miss Trot 4' has been born. The winner was collegiate contestant Gil Yeowon.
On the 18th, the first episode of TV CHOSUN's 'Miss Trot 4 Yeoincheonha: Women who bewitch the world' drew attention with a host of glamorous contestants, including Single's Inferno Season 4 alum Yoo Si-eun, soprano Park Hong-ju, Roolla main vocalist Kim Ji-hyun, singer Jeokwoo, and No Sa-bong, the elder sister of No Sa-yeon.
Among them, collegiate contestant Gil Yeowon captivated attention with idol-level visuals the moment she appeared. Introducing herself as "Gil Yeowon, first-year nursing student," she said she got into trot because of Park Ji-hyun. She added, "I fell for trot after watching Mr. Trot 2 diligently, and that's how I came here," explaining her reason for appearing.
When Kim Seong-ju asked again, "Wasn't the winner back then Ahn Seong-hoon?", Gil Yeowon trailed off, saying, "But in my heart I'm number one," which sent the place into a sea of laughter.
With the determination, "I'll sing hard and try for an all-heart," the song Gil Yeowon chose was Kim Yong-im's "Flower Wind." From the first phrase she dominated the stage with a rich tone, attracting the masters' attention with steady tempo control and clear vocalization. Ultimately, Gil Yeowon left a strong impression by becoming the first of 88 teams to receive an all-heart.
Original singer Kim Yong-im praised, "The beginning of this song is important. The sound has to be different from the first phrase," adding, "It's a song that requires tempo control, but her sound was open and she did very well. Her visuals are outstanding in every respect. It felt like seeing me when I was young."
Jang Yoon-jung also praised her, saying, "There was definitely someone who stood out. The collegiate group walked out together, but I could only see Gil Yeowon," and added, "She's pretty and she sings well — isn't that something to be grateful for? Her voice wasn't an imitation of anyone, which drew my eye even more." Boom added, "After hearing her sing I felt like I'd had a garlic injection," expressing admiration and prompting laughter.
Meanwhile, 'Miss Trot 4 Yeoincheonha: Women who bewitch the world,' which carries the slogan 'Bewitch the world and conquer the realm,' airs every Thursday at 10 p.m. on TV CHOSUN.<
