Yoon Bo-mi (32) of the group Apink will tie the knot with renowned producer Rado (real name Song Ju-young, 41) after a long nine years of dating in public.
On the 18th, Yoon Bo-mi posted a carefully handwritten letter on her official fan cafe, personally revealing that she has promised a lifetime with the partner who has been with her for a long time.
In the letter, Yoon Bo-mi said, "I gathered the courage because I believe it is proper to deliver my sincere heart directly to my precious fans," and noted, "I decided to share the future with the person who stayed by my side for a long time and shared both joy and sorrow."
She went on to express deep gratitude to the fans who have supported her unwaveringly for 15 years. Yoon Bo-mi conveyed her resolve: "I will continue to repay you by working more solidly with a sense of responsibility as Apink and as Yoon Bo-mi."
Their connection began in 2016 through work on Apink's third full-length album, "Pink Revolution." Having first met as singer and composer, they later grew into lovers and nurtured their relationship for as long as nine years, officially acknowledging their romance last year before finally seeing it bear fruit in a wedding next year.
Debuting in 2011, Yoon Bo-mi has left behind numerous hits including "Mr. Chu" and "NoNoNo," and she is recently active in various fields, including an appearance in the drama "Queen of Tears" and as a variety show MC. In Jan. next year, Apink is also set to release a new album commemorating the 15th anniversary of their debut. The groom-to-be Rado is known in the music industry as a "Midas' touch," having created TWICE's "TT" and Chungha's "Gotta Go," and he is also well known as the producer of the group STAYC.
