SHINee Key will not attend the '2025 SBS Gayo Daejeon'.
On the 18th, an SBS official told OSEN, "It is correct that SHINee Key has been removed from the final lineup for the 'Gayo Daejeon'."
On that day, the SBS official account posted, "The final lineup for Gayo Daejeon has arrived. Revealing the final lineup that will fill this Christmas," along with an image of the lineup, and the released image showed that the name of SHINee Key, whose appearance had been announced, was missing.
Earlier, on the 17th, SHINee Key's agency, SM Entertainment, issued an official statement saying, "Key visited a hospital in Gangnam District where a person surnamed Lee works after a friend's recommendation and first met him as a doctor. Key continued to receive treatment at the hospital afterward, and when recent hospital visits were difficult, he received treatment at home several times," the agency acknowledged.
The agency said, "He believed this person surnamed Lee was a doctor, and because Lee made no particular remarks, he did not think receiving treatment at home would be a problem," and added, "Key only recently learned for the first time that this person surnamed Lee is not a doctor amid controversy over Lee's medical license and is very confused, and he deeply reflects on his own ignorance. Therefore, recognizing the seriousness of the matter, Key has decided to withdraw from currently scheduled events and programs in which he is appearing."
As a result, he will not participate in the '2025 SBS Gayo Daejeon', which was scheduled for the 25th. SBS released the final lineup on the 18th through its official account, and Key's name was omitted from that lineup.
Meanwhile, the '2025 SBS Gayo Daejeon' will be held at 5 p.m. on Dec. 25 at Incheon Inspire Arena.
