The group's BABYMONSTER behind-the-scenes video of the '2025 MAMA AWARDS' was released on YG's official blog on the 17th. The behind-the-scenes story of the stages that swept first and second place in views for that awards ceremony on Mnet's YouTube with overwhelming live performances has been unveiled.
Ahead of their debut first 'MAMA' stage, BABYMONSTER checked movements and positions and immersed themselves in dress rehearsals as if it were the real thing. On the day of the performance, they raised their focus amid nerves through meticulous condition management and repeated practice, and reflected on the meaning of the 'MAMA' stages built by YG seniors while steeling their resolve.
When the members finally took the main stage, they instantly dominated the venue with the intense charisma of 'WE GO UP' and the explosive energy of 'DRIP'. Their polished performances drew thunderous cheers, and for the subsequent 'Worldwide Fans' Choice' award they dedicated all the glory to Monsties (the fandom name), expressing their gratitude.
The next day, Parita, Ahyeon and Rora transformed into the girl group Huntrix from the Netflix animation 'K-pop Demon Hunters' to prepare a special stage. In particular, backstage they attracted attention by having a meaningful time receiving praise, autographs and words of encouragement from director Maggie Kang and director Chris Appelhans.
On the following main stage, the three opened with the sweet-voiced 'What It Sounds Like' and flawlessly delivered 'Golden' in a one-key live. After successfully finishing the stage, the members sincerely said they hoped it became a performance that would give strength to everyone.
BABYMONSTER will release the music video for the mini album 2 track 'SUPA DUPA LUV' from [WE GO UP] tonight at 12 a.m. (0 a.m. on the 19th). They are also smoothly touring 'BABYMONSTER [LOVE MONSTERS] ASIA FAN CONCERT 2025-26' across six cities for 12 shows, and are expected to once again deliver a legendary stage when they appear on SBS's '2025 Gayo Daejeon' on the 25th.
