With two days to go until the wedding of actors Shin Mina and Kim Woo-bin, close friend Lee Kwang-soo will emcee.
On the 18th, a representative of Lee Kwang-soo's agency, King Kong by Starship, told OSEN, "Lee Kwang-soo will serve as emcee at the wedding of actors Kim Woo-bin and Shin Mina," in an official statement.
Kim Woo-bin and Shin Mina will hold their wedding on the 20th at a hotel in Seoul. The two have been a long-term dating couple for more than 10 years since 2015, and even when Kim Woo-bin was battling nasopharyngeal cancer, Shin Mina cared for him devotedly, expressing her affection.
As soon as news of the two people's wedding was heard, netizens speculated that Lee Kwang-soo, who is such a close friend that they appeared together on the variety show "Kong Kong Pang Pang," would emcee and that Doh Kyung Soo might perform the celebratory song.
However, a representative of AM Entertainment told OSEN, "Regarding the wedding of actors Kim Woo-bin and Shin Mina, nothing has been decided except the date and the venue so far. The emcee, officiant and celebratory song have not been decided," adding in an official statement and declining to say more.
Then it was reported that Doh Kyung Soo, whom Kim Woo-bin cherishes as a younger brother, would inevitably be unable to attend the wedding. On the day of the wedding, he has to appear on stage with EXO at the "2025 Melon Music Awards (2025 MMA)." Moreover, Kim Woo-bin's wedding is being held in Jung-gu, Seoul, while the "2025 MMA" is taking place in Guro-gu, Seoul, so it would be impossible to just show his face, and the performance time and the ceremony time happened to be very close to each other.
In response, Doh Kyung Soo spoke up and expressed his regret. At the Disney+ series The Manipulated's wrap-up interview, he sighed and said, "But it's a given.
