Group Apink member Yoon Bomi announced the group's first-ever "marriage," and former member Son Na-eun, who left the group, has been summoned. Interest is focused on whether Son Na-eun, who left the team, will attend Yoon Bomi's wedding and complete Apink as a full unit.
On the 18th, Yoon Bomi posted a handwritten letter on Apink's official fan cafe and said, "After my teens and 20s, I have suddenly become 33-year-old Yoon Bomi, and I have decided to spend the rest of my life with someone who has long shared everyday life by my side, celebrating with me in happy times and supporting me when I'm shaken," announcing her marriage to music producer Rado.
Yoon Bomi continued, "As I have done until now, I will not lose my sense of responsibility in my place going forward, and I will live more firmly. And as Apink and as Yoon Bomi, I will repay Panda with better activities in the future."
Yoon Bomi and Rado formed a relationship while working on Apink's third full-length album in 2016, overcame a nine-year age gap and developed into a romantic relationship. The two quietly dated for nine years and will tie the knot in May next year and start anew.
The agencies representing Yoon Bomi and Rado also issued an official statement that day, "They will tie the knot in May next year with this precious relationship. Please give warm support to the two as they open a new chapter in their lives." They repeatedly emphasized that both Yoon Bomi and Rado plan to continue music activities steadily after marriage. Before getting married, Yoon Bomi plans to return with Apink's 11th mini album, Re : Love (RE : LOVE), on Jan. 5 and participate in group activities.
With Yoon Bomi and Rado announcing their marriage after nine years of dating, Son Na-eun, who left Apink in 2022, is also drawing attention. Son Na-eun left the group in April 2022 after 11 years with Apink and has since focused on acting.
At the time, Son Na-eun said, "Apink has been like a family that I spent a long time with, and after much consideration I made the difficult decision; it was not an easy choice, but now I will become another Panda and support Apink. I will keep the name Son Na-eun of Apink in my heart and show better sides so that I am not ashamed of that name — I think that is how I can repay them," she directly stated.
Since then, Son Na-eun stepped away from Apink activities and concentrated on acting, so fans have not been able to see Apink as a six-member full group. With Apink preparing for activities marking their 15th debut anniversary next year, fans feel even more regret.
