grants Shim Ja-yoon, who appeared on 'Radio Star,' reveals the episode in which she auditioned to get the MZ intern character that became a hot topic in 'Office Workers.'
Today (17th) the MBC entertainment 'Radio Star' is staged as a 'Please take care of Filmo' special featuring Kim Tae-won, Lee Pil-mo, Kim Yong-myung, and grants Shim Ja-yoon.
Through 'Office Workers,' Shim Ja-yoon, who became known for the MZ intern character, reveals behind-the-scenes of her first-ever acting audition. "It was the first acting audition I had ever seen," she said, saying she expected a simple audition setting, and she said she had to perform in front of more than 20 people including seniors at the time, which surprised everyone.
Shim Ja-yoon said, "I thought of it not as acting but as filming a variety show," and she entered the audition determined to "make the people in front of me laugh." She then drew attention by performing an impromptu audition that targeted the tastes of the 'SNL crew.' She vividly portrayed the reckless side of the overenthusiastic MZ intern whose energy is drained just by looking at them, and the state in which that enthusiasm has rapidly cooled, evoking everyone's admiration.
Shim Ja-yoon also said, "My real personality is similar, so it was easy to act," and shared an episode about studying Japanese. She said Japanese was so fun that she only looked at Japanese vocabulary notebooks, and while telling the story of how she dropped studying Japanese, she caused uproarious laughter by showing how her enthusiasm rapidly fell. In response, MC Yoo Se-yoon said, "Even while talking now it's cooled off!" which provoked laughter. It airs tonight at 10:30 p.m. <
