KBS2 'The Return of SUPERMAN' shows Shim Hyung-tak opening Shimstetic for the "visual genius" Haru.
'The Return of SUPERMAN' (directed by Kim Young-min, hereafter 'The Return of SUPERMAN') has been loved by the public for 13 years since it first aired in 2013. In 2023 following Eun-woo, on the 2nd week and 3rd week of June on TV-OTT non-drama participant topicality rankings, 'The Return of SUPERMAN' Jeong-woo entered the top 10 for two consecutive weeks, proving they are the youngest, most talked-about siblings, and in the 2nd week of August in the same category, 'The Return of SUPERMAN' Haru and Shim Hyung-tak both entered the top 10 simultaneously, demonstrating viewers' hot interest. (Good Data Corporation 기준) Also, in July he received the presidential citation in commemoration of the 14th "Population Day," showing the stature of a "national parenting variety" program.
Today's (17th) broadcast of 'The Return of SUPERMAN' episode 601 is titled "You were moving," with MC Kim Jong-min and LALAL together, and Shim Hyung-tak takes charge of his son Haru's visual care.
Shim Hyung-tak begins a home care routine exclusively for Haru. He prepared skin care to make Haru's fair skin even more moist and a scalp gua sha massage that stimulates the spaces between thick hairs to aid circulation.
Especially, Haru's visuals boast an unusually cute charm. Even with a face mask on, Haru shows the ultimate in loveliness, proving himself to be the recognized "visual genius." Shim Hyung-tak said, "Our Haru's visuals are amazing," expressing admiration for his ever-renewing good looks.
Haru quietly entrusts his body to his father's hand as the gua sha moves through his thick hair, then, as if imitating his father, he holds an octopus-shaped gua sha and moves his hand up and down to perform a gua sha dance that raises his cuteness. The pinnacle of Haru's adorably explosive care routine is Shim dad's "cheek lifting." When Shim dad lightly massages around Haru's jaw with the gua sha, Haru's trademark rice cake–like cheeks jiggle and clutch the heart.
Meanwhile, MC LALAL reacts strongly to Shim dad's "cheek lifting." LALAL said, "Not a gram must come off Haru's cheeks," shouting to 'protect the cheeks,' Haru's charm point, which reportedly drew strong sympathy.
