Meanwhile, Im Chang-jung previously underwent a prosecution investigation over allegations of involvement in stock price manipulation but was cleared of charges. Recently, it was reported that a corporate building owned by him in Paju is at risk of voluntary auction. The building was purchased under a corporation wholly owned by Im Chang-jung as an entertainment company headquarters, and IBK Industrial Bank of Korea filed a claim for about 3.6 billion won and applied for a voluntary auction, with the initial appraisal price reported to be about 6.0 billion won.
