Band Daybreak member Lee Won-seok offers encouragement to youth.
The semifinal mission song "Bright" from cable channel Mnet's global iconic band formation project "Steel Heart Club," which Lee Won-seok participated in composing, was released today (17th) at noon across various music streaming sites.
"Bright" is a pop-rock track that centers on solid drums and clear guitar melodies, concentrating the band sound. Against an upbeat arrangement that contrasts with the lyrical lyrics, the dynamic development in which the vocals and instruments elevate each other's energy is impressive, and prospective musicians from "Steel Heart Club" participated to capture both the anxieties and hopes of youth.
Lee Won-seok made a surprise appearance as the original author and judge during the midterm review of "Topline Battle" broadcast on the 9th, showing his presence with affectionate comments toward the participants. He said it felt almost 99% consistent with the arrangement direction he imagined while creating the topline and noted it was an arrangement that accurately pierced the intention of the assignment, drawing attention.
At the same time, he said that it is necessary to strategically use all elements on stage, such as gestures and eye contact, to enhance persuasiveness, guiding the growth of the prospective musicians with the sharp eye and advice of a professional musician.
Lee Won-seok is the vocalist of long-running band Daybreak, which marks its 18th debut anniversary this year, and has continued steady musical activities based on a refreshing yet sophisticated sound. Backed by stable capabilities built through numerous stage experiences and music work, which have earned the public's and music industry's trust, he plans to add meaningful depth to the next-generation band formation project through composing the mission song "Bright."
