Group S.E.S member Eugene declared a break from routine.
On the 17th, a video titled "How long are you going to shop…? Reality couple moments during a Songdo date" was released on the YouTube channel 'EugeneVSTaeyoung'.
In the video, Eugene and Ki Tae-young went on a date in Songdo, Incheon, ahead of Christmas. Eugene said, "Usually we dated a lot in Seoul," and Ki Tae-young explained, "We will film light, everyday dates we usually have." The two started their date among ordinary people with their arms linked, not wearing masks, and showed sweet couple moments.
Seeing a Christmas tree, Eugene said, "My home tree is 20 years old. I bought it at Goto (Express Bus Terminal) for 100,000 won." Ki Tae-young said, "If you had bought Nvidia stock 14 years ago, it would be 285 times now," drawing laughter. The two entered a store and shopped for Christmas ornaments, plates and more, and Ki Tae-young's tired expression at Eugene's continued shopping elicited laughs.
The two then arrived at an arcade. Upon entering, Eugene and Ki Tae-young showed interest in new games and fired up their competitive spirit playing pump and basketball games. In particular, while playing pump Eugene, seeming very excited, declared a break from routine, saying, "If I'm not here, you can assume I came here," which made viewers laugh. Ki Tae-young opened his wallet wide as he got competitive at the claw machine.
Over dinner they talked about various things. Ki Tae-young expressed his ambition to film content that would reach 200,000 subscribers, and Eugene surprised him by saying she wanted to bungee jump. Ki Tae-young tried to persuade Eugene, saying, "Households with children should avoid risky things like motorcycles and bungee jumping."
Meanwhile, Eugene and Ki Tae-young married in 2011 and have two daughters.
