On the 17th, SM Entertainment said, "We inform you that a fine and other punishments have been confirmed for a person who damaged her reputation by spreading false information such as impersonating an acquaintance of Kwon Yuri, and that investigations/inquiries into several other cases are ongoing."
SM Entertainment said, "Through reports from fans and continuous monitoring, we are consistently taking legal action against those who have posted malicious content targeting Kwon Yuri on various platforms such as Instagram, X, and YouTube," and added, "We will strongly respond to all illegal acts that infringe on the rights of our artists without any leniency or settlement, and will take all possible civil and criminal measures."
They continued, "We will continue to do our best in every way to protect the rights and interests of our artists, and we ask for special caution so that such acts do not result in punishment."
Meanwhile, Kwon Yuri will hold "2026 YURI's 3rd FANMEETING TOUR in SEOUL YURIVERSE" on Jan. 24, 2026, at Yonsei University Sinchon Campus Centennial Concert Hall and meet with fans.
