5-member boy group H&H BOYS debuted officially in China and threw down the gauntlet to the global music market.
H&H BOYS unveiled their debut album "The 1st Heavenly Harmony" and began official activities through a showcase held in China on the 10th. Through this showcase they presented the group's identity and musical world for the first time, drawing attention from local fans.
H&H BOYS is a boy group jointly planned and produced by ZENISGLOCAL ACADEMY, led by chairman Kang Jun, who has worked in Korea's entertainment industry for about 35 years, and Chinese entertainment corporation ZCO Entertainment. It was created targeting the global market based on the K-pop system and systematic production know-how.
The group name H&H BOYS is an abbreviation of "Heavenly Harmony," and it carries the meaning of delivering messages of comfort, empathy and hope through music.
The members consist of five people including leader ALEX, XP, XINGYU, YUAN and MATTHEW. The members possess various musical capabilities, not only in vocals and performance but also in rap, DJing, songwriting, guitar and piano performance.
The debut album "The 1st Heavenly Harmony" includes a total of four songs, including the title track "Dance The Night," "Mystic," "Rising," and "Roller Coaster." It is characterized by expressing the emotions and growth process of turbulent youth through music.
The album's overall producer was Kang Jun, who once served as chief executive officer of an affiliate of SM Entertainment. Kang Jun currently leads ZENISGLOCAL ACADEMY and ZENIS C&M. Choreography was handled by Director General Lee Joo-seon, who produced Psy's "Gangnam Style," and the music director was composer Go Young-hwan, who worked on hit songs for Yoon Mi-rae, Jo Sung-mo, Fly to the Sky and MC the Max, raising the album's completeness.
H&H BOYS plans to sequentially release "The 1st Heavenly Harmony (Begin)", "Singing for you", and "For Me-For together."
H&H BOYS expressed the aspiration, "We want to be a group that can stay together through music for a long time rather than a temporary sensation." The agency said, "We plan to grow into a group that represents China's young generation and expand activities beyond Asia to the global stage."
Chinese fans also responded that the group is one "whose restrained energy and boyish charm, and each member's individuality, are in harmony," expressing expectations for H&H BOYS's future moves.<
