Actor Jo Yeo-jeong purchased a Hanam-dong The Penthouse worth around 4 billion won entirely with cash.
According to the court registry copy on the 17th, Jo Yeo-jeong signed a subscription contract in March 2022 for one unit of BRIGHTEN Hanam's The Penthouse in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul. She paid the subscription price at the end of November this year and completed the transfer of ownership.
Considering that no separate mortgage has been set, it is presumed Jo Yeo-jeong bought it entirely with cash. The current listing price for the same type is formed at 4 billion won.
BRIGHTEN Hanam consists of a total of 142 households: 121 officetel units with exclusive areas of 51–84 square meters from basement level 8 to ground level 16, and 21 apartment units with exclusive areas of 103–117 square meters. It was completed at the end of October last year, and move-ins have continued until recently.
Many entertainment industry stars also own those officetel units. SEVENTEEN member Jeonghan received a subscription for The Penthouse in 2021, Gwanghee subscribed for an 84 square meter officetel in February 2022. Actress Yoo Ho-jeong and broadcaster Kim Na-young are also reported to have subscribed to those officetel units.
Meanwhile, Jo Yeo-jeong met the public this year in various works. She appeared in the films "My Daughter is a Zombie" and "Murderer Report", and will meet viewers with the Disney+ original series "Made In Korea", which is released on the 24th. Her next projects include the Netflix film "Possible Love" and the film "Revenant".
