Comedian Kim Su-yong recently shared that he has recovered his health after a critical moment last fall when he fell into cardiac arrest from a myocardial infarction, and the good deeds of Kim Sook and Lim Hyung-joon, who played decisive roles in saving his life, are drawing renewed attention.
Kim Su-yong recently appeared on tvN's You Quiz on the Block and recalled the time he experienced about 20 minutes of cardiac arrest from a myocardial infarction, saying, "I hardly ever got sick. I might catch a cold once every one or two years, and I never imagined a myocardial infarction would happen to me." He said, "At the hospital I was prescribed medication for reflux esophagitis and had an ultrasound, and the doctor told me to go to a larger hospital. But I went to the set and smoked again. That cigarette tasted unusually bitter that day," he revealed.
While moving to the next filming location, Kim Su-yong suddenly lost consciousness and collapsed. Fortunately, Lim Hyung-joon, who had angina medication on hand, was at the scene, and with Kim Su-yong's tongue rolling back in a critical situation, Kim Sook and Kim Sook's manager responded quickly and performed initial emergency treatment.
