According to foreign outlets including the Daily Mail, at the premiere held on the 17th (local time), Chalamet chose his mother as his "plus one" instead of a romantic partner. The mother and son appeared that day wearing matching neon orange outfits, showing a warm mother-son chemistry. Chalamet matched an inner layer and scarf to his bright orange suit, and Nicole Flender added accents with a sleeveless halter dress, heels and a sequin clutch.
During the photo session, Chalamet posed holding his mother tightly, and Nicole Flender playfully lifted her foot in response, turning the scene into a sea of laughter. The two's orange couple look recalled the orange styles Chalamet and his partner Kylie Jenner showcased at the Los Angeles premiere, drawing even more attention.
Because rumors of a split between Chalamet and Kylie Jenner had circulated in recent weeks, the appearance with his mother that day attracted further interest. The two had been seen less often together publicly since watching a game together at Yankee Stadium in New York last October, but some interpreted the premiere as a subtle indication that their relationship continues.
