On the 17th broadcast, the tvN variety show You Quiz on the Block featured Kim Seol appearing with a sudden growth spurt.
Kim Seol, who was 4 years old at the time, is now in the second year of middle school 10 years later. In particular, it was revealed that Kim Seol and her older brother completed the gifted program side by side, making them a "gifted siblings" pair.
Currently juggling class president duties and band club activities at school while showing versatile talents, Kim Seol revealed a confident side, saying, "If I don't lead, I feel unsettled."
What draws attention above all is Kim Seol's learning method. Except for her hobby of playing the haegeum, Kim Seol is known to receive no private tutoring at all. Kim Seol explained her self-established study routine: "I usually eat and then go to a study cafe around 4–5 p.m., and if I'm late I study until 11 p.m., but usually until 8 p.m."
She also revealed an unusual study secret. Kim Seol said, "Friends usually check only important sentences, but I underline so much that the pages turn black and become hard to read," and shared her own "perfectionist" study method: "Doing that makes my hand automatically follow and read sentences much more thoroughly."
