"The Ballad of Us" presents a best album that gathers 2000s ballads in one place.
On the 17th at noon, the compilation 'The Ballad of Us Best (BEST) 3' 2000 ballad collection will be released through various music sites.
'The Ballad of Us Best' is an album-form collection of songs that were released through broadcasts and music services, aiming to deliver more deeply the significance of ballad classics reexamined through the program. Earlier, on the 3rd a 1970s–1980s compilation and on the 10th a 1990s ballad compilation were released, stirring nostalgia among music fans.
The third best album to be released that day is filled with 20 ballads loved from the 2000s to the present, offering listeners once again an emotional musical experience.
This album features 13 contestants who drew attention each round with distinctive tones and vocal skills, including The Ballad of Us winner Lee Ye-ji with explosive emotional vocals, and Jung Ji-woong, Lee Min-ji, Choi Eun-bin, Min Soo-hyun, Hong Seung-min, Park Seo-jung, Kang Ji-yeon, Kim Yoon-ee, Lee Ji-hoon, Lee Seo-young, Cheon Beom-seok and Jeremy.
They reinterpret a variety of classics with their own charm, including Lim Jae-beom's 'For You', Lee Seung-chul's 'Marlee Flower', 'Inyeon', Yoon Jong-shin's 'Annie', As One's 'I Want and I Resent', Buhwal's 'Never Ending Story', Lim Chang-jung's 'A Glass of Soju', Park Jung-hyun's 'Mia', Lee Seung-hwan's 'How Can Love Be Like That', Park Joong-hoon's 'Rain and You', Kim Yuna's 'Going Home', 'Dream', Lee Eun-mi's 'Nocturn', 015B's 'From January to June', Zitten's 'Sunflower', Han Young-ae's 'Wind', Lee So-ra's 'Don't Say It's Not Love', Jung Seung-hwan's 'In Place', Sung Si-kyung's 'Forever' and Lee Hi's 'Only (ONLY)'.
The 2000 ballad collection that will cap the 'The Ballad of Us Best' series can be listened to through various music sites from noon on the 17th.
Meanwhile, The Ballad of Us will meet fans through a nationwide tour concert in 2026. Performances will be held on Jan. 10 at Seongnam Arts Center Opera House in Seongnam, on Jan. 24 at EXCO Auditorium in Daegu, on Feb. 7 and 8 at Kyung Hee University Peace Hall in Seoul, and on Feb. 28 at KBS Busan Hall in Busan, with winner Lee Ye-ji and TOP6 Song Ji-woo, Lee Ji-hoon, Cheon Beom-seok, Choi Eun-bin, Hong Seung-min, semifinalists Kim Yoon-ee, Min Soo-hyun, Lee Jun-seok, Im Ji-seong, Jeremy and Jung Ji-woong joining.
