Singer Zico (ZICO) heightened anticipation for his comeback with concept photos that add a different charm.
Artist and producer Zico released concept photos for his new single "DUET" on his official social media at 10 p.m. on the 16th. The photos also show the appearance of famous Japanese musician Lilas (YOASOBI Ikura), who worked on the new song with him.
The visuals of the two people in the photos are sharply contrasting. Zico exudes a relaxed and free-spirited charm. He expresses different emotions with a wide smile and a look as if lost in thought. By contrast, Ikura captures attention with a refined and neat atmosphere. She gazes at the sky or, wearing a suit, reads a newspaper seriously, highlighting traits opposite to Zico's.
Zico, representing Korean hip-hop, and Lilas, a leader of Japanese band music. The contrast shown in the released photos seems to display their different musical colors. Expectations grow for music created by these "top-tier" Korean and Japanese musicians, each at the top of their field, joining forces. The reunion of the "hit-making team" also draws attention. Zico will appear at The 17th Melon Music Awards, MMA2025 (2025 Melon Music Awards, MMA2025) at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on the 20th to premiere the stage for "DUET."
