Because of comedian Park Narae's controversy, the lineup for the new variety show "Nado Sinna," which would have featured Jang Doyoun, Shin Giru and Heo Anna together, was canceled, and Jang Doyoun's past remarks are being reexamined.
Earlier, on the 8th, OSEN exclusively reported that production of MBC's new variety show "Nado Sinna" had been completely canceled.
"Nado Sinna" is a travel variety show in which four comedian close friends who know each other better than their own families — Park Narae, Jang Doyoun, Shin Giru and Heo Anna — appear. It drew expectations as a "three no's" travel show — no filter, no context, no restraint. In particular, from the planning stage there was anticipation that, with the production teams of MBC's flagship variety shows "Radio Star" and "Adventure by Accident" meeting the four trend-setting comediennes, it could become a female version of "Adventure by Accident."
"Nado Sinna," which was scheduled to premiere in January 2026, was completely canceled after Park Narae announced she would suspend activities following allegations ranging from managerial abuse by her former manager to illegal medical practices.
From the program title — taking one syllable from each member's name such as Park'Na'ree, Jang'Do'youn, 'Shin' Giru and HeoAn'na' — and because Park Narae had carried a significant portion of the existing filmed content, it was judged that the production's original intent could not be realized without her.
In the end, "Nado Sinna" could not see the light of day, and one cast member, Heo Anna, posted a video on social media on the 15th of her drinking soju with jajangmyeon, expressing her upset after failing all acting auditions following the cancellation of "Nado Sinna."
Meanwhile, a scene in which Jang Doyoun mentioned "Nado Sinna" has also drawn belated attention and is being reexamined.
Recently, Heo Kyunghwan's YouTube channel uploaded a video titled "Finally invited a super super star guest, chemistry with a real friend who has been together from the street for 19 years."
On that day, during a phone call with Jang Doyoun, Heo Kyunghwan asked about her Christmas plans, and Jang Doyoun said she had a "Radio Star" recording on the 24th.
Heo Kyunghwan said, "When there's nothing special, it's good to work," and Jang Doyoun agreed, "There's nothing better than that. Actually, even if I just laze around at home, there's nothing proper to do, and it's awkward to make plans to go out, so a recording is the best."
Heo Kyunghwan then asked, "Don't comediennes get together and go on trips?" and Jang Doyoun promoted the new program, saying, "That's right. So Park Narae, Heo Anna, Shin Giru and I, the four of us, are doing a travel program called 'Nado Sinna' on camera."
Also, conveying Shin Dongyup's praise, Heo Kyunghwan said, "I feel a bit of a sense of mission. I must not become a burden on it," and Jang Doyoun added, "That's right. I'm thinking I shouldn't tarnish it either," drawing attention.
Meanwhile, on the 16th Park Narae released a statement via video. She said, "There are aspects of the currently raised issues that need calm verification of the facts, and legal procedures are underway. In that process I will refrain from additional public remarks or explanations. I judge that this matter is not a personal feeling or relationship issue but something that should be objectively verified through official procedures," and said she would handle all matters according to legal procedures.
