Comedian Shin Ki-ru recently revealed she has been going through a lot of emotional distress. It is significant that a variety show she was scheduled to do with Park Na-rae was canceled.
Shin Ki-ru recently wrote on her YouTube channel community, "First, I will apologize. I said every Wednesday, but there are rare times when I upload every other week, and for weeks when I inevitably could not upload, I should have posted a separate notice for those waiting, and I lacked consideration" she said.
In particular, after publishing subscribers' comments such as 'Aren't you breaking promises too often?', 'Don't you value promises to fans?', 'Are you busy? You don't upload? Why don't you keep your promises?', she said, "I am especially sorry to the subscribers who are very upset."
Shin Ki-ru added, "I have fans who double-check the feed and stories I post on Instagram, so if that's the case, they would know that I have been struggling with recent adolescence-related difficulties, and I handle showing a little bit of hurt feelings lightly."
Recently Shin Ki-ru lost work because of the Park Na-rae controversy. Shin Ki-ru had been confirmed to appear with Park Na-rae, Jang Doyoun, and Heo Anna on MBC's new variety program "I also get excited," but production was canceled after Park Na-rae halted all broadcasting activities amid allegations of manager power abuse and illegal medical procedures.
Meanwhile, Park Na-rae said in her "final statement" released on the 16th, "There are parts of the facts raised now that need to be calmly verified, and legal procedures are underway. I will not make any additional public remarks or explanations during that process. I believe this matter is not a personal emotional or relational issue but something that should be objectively verified through official procedures."
